Earlier reports said that the young actor has no plans to renew his bond with Ben Chan, Bench owner, that's why he did not attend the fashion event held once every two years. However, Chan has reportedly scheduled a meeting with the actor trying to discuss whatever problem John Lloyd had with the management and try to convince him to remain as Bench endorser. In a television interview with John Lloyd last Tuesday, he apologized to the people who expected him to walk on the runway of Bench Blackout. He said he had to furnish and finish some post scenes in his movie with Sarah Geronimo entitled "A Very Special Love" that opens in theater Wednesday. "I apologize to those who waited for me in the show. I have to do post scenes for our upcoming movie," he said. The actor added in jest that he tried to make into the runway. "I was there but I have no brief to use," he said. John Lloyd meanwhile did not react on the issue of renewing his contract with Bench but reports said that he and Chan will talk about the matter on Sunday
