Actress Dawn Zulueta admitted Wednesday that she had to take a bed rest for almost a week after experiencing spotting or light bleeding last week.

Zulueta said she has been busy with work even after learning that she is pregnant with her second child. She said she had just finished taping and started promotions for her new movie "Magkaibigan" when she started to have light bleeding.

"Last Tuesday, we were taping for 'Family Feud' when my spotting wouldn't stop. My doctor told me to take bed rest immediately so that's what I did from Wednesday until last night. My only problem now is morning sickness," she said.

She also said that she has become very sensitive to the smell of cigarette smoke.

Zulueta, who is married to Davao businessman Anton Lagdameo, only wishes for the health of their new baby. The Lagdameos have one child, Jacobo.
