MANILA, Philippines – Charice is performing at a special charity concert set for next week at the historic Warner Theater in Washington D.C. Special guest at the gala event is First Lady Michelle Obama.

Titled An Evening with Childhelp Featuring David Foster (who’s producing it), the concert is part of Childhelp’s 50th anniversary celebration. Childhelp is a charity organization committed to preventing and treating child abuse in the US and around the world.

Other performers are Patti LaBelle, Brian McKnight, American Idol winner Ruben Studdard and 13-year-old guitar prodigy/YouTube sensation Jung Sung-ha of Korea.
