Gabby reveals he got carried away with ‘steamy’ love scene with Claudine

{mosimage}Gabby Concepcion admitted that his love scene with Claudine Barretto in their upcoming teleserye, "Iisa Pa Lamang", was steamy and that he got carried away. Nonetheless, he takes pride in the results because it was done in good taste.

In a separate interview, Claudine revealed that there was discomfort before shooting the scene but it eventually vanished, thanks to Gabby’s professionalism. It was said that their kissing scene had been done several times and had lasted for 10 minutes.

"Bumigay din naman ako, kaya patas lang," said Gabby jokingly. "Kaya yung eksena okey kasi binigay namin yung best namin."

During a recent pocket press conference for Gabby, he was asked to describe their love scene, to which he answered: "Maganda, mausok (steamy) kasing init ng bagong lagay na buffet kanina. Nakakapaso," sending the present media people to laughter with his metaphor.

"Iisa Pa Lamang" is considered to be Gabby’s major comeback project after 13 years of absence in the showbiz world. The brilliant actor confessed that there was conscious effort on his part to make sure that he delivers.

"Kinakabahan ako sa kalalabasan ng acting ko," he shared. He said that more than the dialogue, he is more particular with how his acting appears on screen. "Parati kong pinapanood sa monitor kung maganda ba, kung okey ba, minsan nararamdaman mo na ang emosyon pero wala sa mukha mo eh."

In the first few taping days, Gabby said that he just sat down in one corner and observed his co-stars during takes in order to motivate and familiarize himself again with acting that he never did in years. He could only be thankful to the staff, crew and stars of the program because they were totally supportive of him.

"Wala akong naririnig sa kanila kundi kagandahan, kabutihan wala akong nararamdaman mula sa kanila kundi puro suporta," he enthused.

Aside from Claudine and Gabby, "Iisa Pa Lamang" also stars Deither Ocampo, Angelica Panganiban, and Ms. Susan Roces on Primetime Bida.
