Jet Singh exits Pinoy Dream Academy

Jet Singh, the 26-year old video jock from Camarines Norte made a voluntary exit from Pinoy Dream Academy last Sunday, July 6.

The dropout scholar explained that he decided to finally leave the show because he really missed his family.

"My family need me. Baka wala na silang makain, I also have obligations to my family," explains Jet .

He also kept on saying that his family needed his financial support, something he can't provide if he will to stay longer inside the academy. Jet is now a father to his first born child. Before his voluntary exit, Jet expressed sadness for not getting the chance to leave the academy during the last Expulsion Night that happened last Saturday, July 5.

He was also having second thoughts about giving up the chance to be in the Academy because of his supporters who voted for him so he could continue his fight inside the Academy.

Jet eventually sought comfort and advice from the Academy's Headmaster Ryan Cayabyab, and live-in-teacher Monet Silverio.

Finally, after much soul-searching Jet made the final decision to exit the house Sunday night; he was transported back to his beloved wife and their new baby.

Jet is the fourth PDA scholar to leave the academy. Almost three weeks earlier, PDA scholar Chivas Malunda of Negros Oriental lef the show because of health problems.

Then, Ross Ross Dio made the voluntary exit last Monday, June 30 saying that he could not longer stand the constant backstabbing inside the Academy and he also missed his family.

The third scholar to leave the Academy was Sheng Belmonte, who was expelled after getting the lowest number of text votes from viewers.
