Award-winning actress Alessandra de Rossi revealed that she's part of ABS-CBN's upcoming television series titled "Tayong Dalawa" with actor Jake Cuenca and on-screen love team Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson.
In an interview, de Rossi said that she will be playing the role of Greta, friend of JR (Anderson) who believes that she's meant to be with him forever.
"Pero siyempre noong malaman ko na hindi pala niya ako mahal, doon na magii-start yung kontrabida factor ko sa kanya.”
The actress said that for the series she vowed to do all her best to give justice to her role as the main contravida.
"Parang ganoon na ang mangyayari kasi parang full paghihiganti ang gagawin ko kasi parang si Kim magiging kaagaw ko siya, so siyempre hindi ako papayag mag-aasawa ako ng mayaman at bibilhin ko sila lahat," she said.
Aside from her first time to work with Anderson, Chiu and Cuenca it will also be de Rossi's first to play the role of a guest relation officer (GRO). As she takes a much bolder role, the actress shares her concern about the sexy wardrobe she needs to wear.
"This time ito na GRO naman. So, nakakatuwa rin pero siyempre medyo kinakabahan ako sa mga outfit kasi magtataray ka naka-plunging eh wala ka naman din ipapakita,” de Rossi said.
De Rossi, a Star Magic alumna, also revealed that the series is one of the reasons why she decided to move back to her mother network as a Kapamilya star.
"Actually iba ang kwento noong pero okay na din ito, pareho lang naman... ito talaga yung dahilan kung bakit ako lumipat kumbaga magkakaroon ako ng soap na drama tapos yon ito na siya," de Rossi told abs-cbnNEWS.com during the cast pictorial.
In the series, de Rossi will be working with industry's veteran actresses like Gina Pareño and Helen Gamboa. The cast also ncludes Mylene Dizon and Agot Isidro.
It will be recalled that De Rossi started her career again in ABS-CBN through her guesting for hit series "I Love Betty La Fea" with actress Bea Alonzo as Betty and a special episode for "Maalaala Mo Kaya" with actor John Lloyd Cruz.
De Rossi shared her excitement over her decision to transfer to ABS-CBN after reports surfaced that she refused to be part of GMA-7's series "La Lola" because of her recent tiff with actress Rhian Ramos, one of the lead stars of the series.
