 Heart Evangelista may now be called as the new queen of primetime television, at least for Mega Manila viewers. This is because her new GMA-7 fantaserye, Luna Mystika, consistently topped the ratings game this week.
Moreover, Luna Mystika finally reached the 40-plus mark last Monday, November 24, when it posted a rating of 40.2 percent—its highest rating, so far, since its debut last week. It's been quite a while since a primetime show was able to reach a 40-plus mark after Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes's Dyesebel ended last October.
Luna Mystika, which also stars Mark Anthony Fernandez, led other six Kapuso shows in dominating the primetime race. These are Gagambino, La Lola, Survivor Philippines, 24 Oras, My Husband's Woman, and Family Feud.
The other slots were occupied by the following ABS-CBN shows: I Love Betty Lea Fea, TV Patrol World, and Dyosa. Kahit Isang Saglit and Pinoy Fear Factor managed to grab the last of the Top 10 slots last Monday and Thursday, respectively.
Kahit Isang Saglit and Pinoy Fear Factor swapped timeslots beginning last Monday. Kahit Isang Saglit is now pitted against GMA-7's La Lola while Pinoy Fear Factor is now directly competing with Kapuso reality show Survivor Philippines.
In the daytime race, afternoon soap Saan Darating ang Umaga? took the lead last Monday, but noontime show Eat Bulaga! was able to grab it the next three days.
Una Kang Naging Akin, on the other hand placed second in all days, except Monday when it ranked third behind Saan Darating ang Umaga? and Eat Bulaga!.
Other shows figuring prominently in the Top 10 are Daisy Siete, Wowowee, Pilipinas, Game KNB?, Pieta, Rosalinda, SiS, La Traicion, and Boy & Kris.
