Gabby, Sharon talk face-to-face

Gabby ConcepcionFollowing their reconciliation, Gabby Concepcion revealed that he and former wife, Sharon Cuneta, have talked face-to-face for the first time after their bitter separation more than a decade ago.

An ABS-CBN.com report said the two were seen together inside the ABS-CBN compound Monday night, happily chatting with each other like old times.

The report said Concepcion decided to pay her a visit on the set of her show, “Sharon,” while the actor was taping for the Kapamilya network’s summer station ID.

“Yon ang maganda d’on. Nag-uusap na kami at nagkita kami for the first time dahil nga d’on sa station ID ng ABS. Siyempre, maganda ang feeling na nagkita kami ulit after many, many years… [dati] hanggang usap-usap lang, hanggang texting lang. Ngayon, nag-uusap na kami in person,” he said.

It is no secret that Concepcion and Cuneta have already put their past behind them. They began communicating with each other since late last year through the help of their daughter, KC.

Concepcion even greeted the megastar via a taped message in January when she celebrated her 43rd birthday with a “mega” concert at the Araneta Coliseum.

“It was really, really a great feeling to see her again. Nag-usap kami after all the storm has passed,” he said.

The actor also did not discount the possibility of him and Cuneta doing a movie again.

“Iba na ang panahon ngayon. We’re happier now,” he said.

Cuneta is now married to Sen. Francis Pangilinan while Concepcion’s wife is based in the United States.
