In a press conference for her upcoming television series "The Wedding," Curtis revealed that there are lot of things she misses doing with a special someone, including simple every day greetings. "’Yong may nagte-text message na 'good morning', ‘yong mga ganoon nakaka-miss talaga," Curtis, who broke up with actor Sam Milby last year, said. The young actress, however, maintained that although she is currently single she is "definitely not lonely." On her controversial break-up with Milby, the actress said the two of them have already moved on and recovered from their split. "I'm okay now, masakit. It takes a while but I'm okay now. Naka-recover na ako. It has been at least seven months," she said. Right now, Curtis is focusing her attention on work. She is busy taping for "The Wedding," the newest addition to ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida shows. Curtis portrays the character of Candice de Menes, a spoiled brat who loves fantasizing about her dream wedding. In the story, she cooks up plans to help her parents reconcile their marriage woes. She uses Marlon (Zanjoe Marudo), a poor engineer employed by her father, as a pawn in her plans. She is also helped by her childhood sweetheart Warren (Derek Ramsay). In the process, she undergoes love woes of her own. The TV show’s biggest question is who will she choose to marry between Warren and Marlon. Joining Curtis in her upcoming television show are stars Eula Valdez, Michael De Mesa, Alwyn Uytingco, Mich Dulce and Irma Adlawan. "The Wedding" is set to premiere on May 11. After her taping days, Curtis is set to take a short vacation in Europe.
