‘Stairway to Heaven,’ Maita (Jean Garcia) learns that the memory of Jodi (Rhian Ramos) has returned and she will devise a way with Eunice (Glaiza de Castro) so that Jodi will not meet Cholo (Dingdong Dantes). Will Jodi convince Cholo she is not Jenna (also played by Rhian) who is mad at him for fooling her?

Tackling young-adult roles prove Rhian’s versatility in the acting arena. The Rhian and Dingdong team-up has been getting excellent reviews and outstanding ratings proving that the chemistry between the two classy actors paid off for the network.

Rhian prepares for every assignment and gives a hundred percent commitment to any project. Rhian, at 19, takes her craft seriously. The way her acting is being praised by critics is a big deal for her. “I am thankful, very much so, when people take notice of the hard work I put into my craft,” she said reacting to observations that she can be very realistic in her portrayals of pain, love and happiness even at such a young age.

She admits that Jodi in ‘Stairway to Heaven’ is, so far, the most challenging TV role given to her. “It's physically and emotionally demanding to play Jodi,” Rhian allows. “I've done different characters in the past. In 'La Lola,' I was made to act like a man, but that's comedy. Playing Jodi is the hardest for me because I have to do heavy drama in most of the scenes.”

Working with Dingdong Dantes, who plays Cholo in the primetime drama series, is an “exciting experience” for Rhian. From the time she did acting workshops with Dingdong for ‘Stairway to Heaven,’ Rhian readily felt at ease with her new leading man. So when they started doing their dramatic highlights, the two were already comfortable acting together. Rhian has good words to say about her leading man. “I appreciate the fact that he is a very passionate actor and that works very well with me. I tend to give my best shot everytime I act with him because he gives his all. I cannot give anything less,” she said.

Not a few predicted when she entered showbiz that Rhian Ramos would easily become one of the best bets of GMA-7 when it comes to female leads. She does not only have the requisite good looks to become a star. She also has the talent to boot.

Her entry into show business was quite abrupt. After she was spotted by GMA 7 executive Annette Gozon-Abrogar in a TV commercial of a fast-food chain, Rhian was immediately signed up to play leading lady to Richard Gutierrez in the action-fantasy series, ‘Captain Barbell.’

However, unlike other showbiz newbies who were quite forgettable in their initial TV foray, Rhian readily made a mark in her acting debut. Her ‘Captain Barbell’ salvo earned for her nominations from the 21st Star Awards for Television as Best New Female TV Personality and Golden Screen Awards for Breakthrough Performance in 2007.

Not surprisingly, other assignments subsequently followed as Rhian became an exclusive talent of GMA 7 under the network's Artist Center headed by now Vice President for Talent Development and Management Department Ida Ramos Henares. Rhian starred with Richard Gutierrez again in ‘Lupin.’ This was succeeded by two other primetime projects with the matinee idol – ‘Codename: Asero’ and ‘Zorro.’

In no time, Rhian became the toast of the small screen and local showbiz. Her TV programs easily gained her an avid following, especially among teenage audiences who adore her Barbie doll features.

Rhian was also given an afternoon drama series, ‘My Only Love,’ where she got to reprise with much excitement the role earlier played on the big screen by Megastar Sharon Cuneta. Rhian had Mark Herras as leading man in the Sinenovela feature. Recently, Rhian was also featured in a show for the international cable channel AXN.

Last year, Rhian got her biggest break when she was given the lead in “La Lola,” the Argentine TV series of the same name. She was paired opposite JC de Vera in the gender-bender romantic-comedy that catapulted her to greater fame and made her a household name.

Big screen projects did not prove to be elusive for Rhian. Debuting in ‘The Promise,’ she later did a succession of memorable portrayals in “Ouija,” ‘My Monster Mom,’ ‘Italy’ and “Sundo.” For the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) this December, Rhian will get to star opposite Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla Jr. in the remake of the legendary action character, ‘Ang Panday.’

Rhian invaded even recording. She recently launched her NMI project ‘Audition Dance Battle’ debut album under Bellhaus Entertainment with the carrier single, ‘You.’ In 2007, Rhian was voted by FHM as No. 20 in the list of 100 Sexiest Women in the World (Philippines).

She has also become a favorite among magazines, glossies and newspaper publications, having appeared on the cover of most of them. They all say the same thing after working with her. “Rhian is a real pro and it is so nice working with her. She is very nice and very, very professional.”

Another facet of Rhian’s character is her natural compassion for others. Recently, Rhian opted to do away with any celebration for her 19th birthday to be able to help the victims of the typhoons. “It is in giving back that we truly find the essence of our existence,” she says.

In the growing stable of stars under GMA Artists Center, Rhian is top of mind among the female talents. Rhian has been proving her worth as she comes as an effective endorser for Belo, Carefree, B Club, Sabella, Hang Ten, Fusion Excel, and Clear. Currently, GMAAC is negotiating for more endorsement deals for the young actress.
