MANILA, Philippines - American singer/composer David Pomeranz (left) meets Christian Bautista for the first time at the Universal Records Christmas party last Dec. 7.

That same evening, Christian received an Awit Award for Best Inspirational Religious Song with Erik Santos for the song Never Give Up, a cut from their Face Off Album under Star Records released last year.

Christian is still No. 1 in sales nationwide with his album in Romance Revisited: The Love Songs Of Jose Mari Chan under Universal Records, his new home-label.
