MANILA, Philippines - ABS-CBN star Coco Martin said his life changed after touching the Black Nazarene while shooting an independent movie.

In his interview with Chalk magazine, Martin said he was filming a scene for “Tirador” that required him to touch the “miraculous” figure.

He admitted that he was nervous that time because he wasn’t sure if he could do the scene.

He said when the shoot began, he was able to touch the hand of the religious relic.

Since then, the young actor said he began to receive a lot of offers. And he said he owes it to that moment.

Now, Martin is one of the most bankable actors in the country.

He said he always finds time to visit Quiapo church as often as he can to thank God for all his blessings.
