Navarro was reacting to reports quoting Kurdi as admitting that she had a 'friendly meeting' with the actor comedian. The report also says that the two are starting to like each other. However, according to Navarro, the date does not mean that he's courting the young actress. He added that her and Kurdi were with friends when they went out. Navarro also confirmed that he was able to met Kurdi in person through social networking website "FaceBook." The actor said that he has no intention of courting Kurdi since he knows that the mestiza actress is already committed to her on screen partner JC De Vera while he is also vocal about his special someone, actress Desiree del Valle. Navarro started his career as a member of the dance group "Street Boys". He was then discovered by Director Chito Roño, who continues to serve as his manager. He is well-known for his movies "Mr. Suave" and "Gagamboy". Late last year, the self-proclaimed Jim Carrey of the Philippines launched his first television series "Lastikman." His "Supapahlicious" under Star Cinema was also a hit. Currently, Navarro is a regular performer of ABS-CBN’s weekly variety show "ASAP." The actor is set to do a reunion film with actress and television host Toni Gonzaga later this year.
