Dingdong Avanzado denies getting serious with Rufa Mae Quinto

{mosimage}Dingdong Avanzado revealed on The Buzz on Sunday that he and Rufa Mae Quinto never got to a point of being into a commitment.

"It is public knowledge that I was seeing her. And she knows this. Yung parteng pagiging seryoso namin, hindi kami umabot dun sa lebel na yon," said Dingdong.

 The singer defended his side for the first time since Rufa Mae accused him of two-timing in the February 2008 issue of an entertainment magazine.

He denied that he was seeing someone else while he and Rufa Mae were dating each other. Dingdong reluctantly confirmed the comedienne’s claim that during a confrontation, they got physical. But he added yet another revelation.

 "To make a point and to clarify that issue, mayroong pisikalang nangyari, totoo, pero hindi ako ang naging pisikal. It was the other way around," he said, insinuating it was Rufa Mae who got violent.

On Rufa Mae’s allegation that his family and friends did not favor the actress, Dingdong said that they were just concerned about the things they were hearing about Rufa Mae and it had nothing to do with her educational attainment.

"They just [had] reservations, but they still left the decision to me."

For the final issue, which Dingdong said he answered eight years ago, he reiterated that his wife, Jessa Zaragoza, did not steal him from Rufa Mae.

"Buong puso ko po sinasabi na di po nangagaw si Jessa, kahit kailan man. Hindi sila nagsabay."
