Rocker Mark Abaya turns dramatic actor in "Ligaw na Bulaklak"

{mosimage}Mark Abaya, son of renowned director Marilou Diaz-Abaya, made a name for himself in the world of rock music as the lead singer of the band Kjwan. He is now trying his hand at dramatic acting on "Ligaw na Bulaklak" on ABS-CBN.

Abaya has always loved the music scene. This is why his entry to the world of drama came as quite a surprise. He is enjoying his new career as an actor.

"I’m loving it. It’s so much fun and it’s really like playing cause everybody’s so nice." he said.

But he made it clear that he will not give up his recording career, and that he will try to juggle both singing and acting. Abaya plays Francis in "Ligaw na Bulaklak". Like most new actors, he sometimes makes lapses in certain scenes.

He gets upset when he fails to deliver his character well.

"I get frustrated kasi I have to make Direk Andoy wait and the other artists wait," he said.

Catch Mark Abaya as he shows off his acting talent in his first show as an actor in "Ligaw na Bulaklak", Monday to Friday after Wowowee on ABS-CBN.
