When asked what people should expect from her this 2009, The Buzz host Ruffa Gutierrez answered, “Definitely hindi ako magpapakasal pa.” While there are many guys who have been sending out feelers about their interest in her, none of them have followed through with their intentions. Some of them are even celebrities whom Ruffa refused to name.

“Gusto ko nga ‘yung mga old-fashioned, eh. Puro na lang sila pasabi sa mga friends. Panay post sa Facebook. Ano ba ‘yan, mga ka-cheap-an,” she retorted. “Maraming nagpapahiwatig. ‘Yun nga lang, through cyberspace lang.” She also admitted that she would like a guy to court her the old-fashioned way. “Gusto ko ‘yung nagpupunta sa bahay, may dalang fruits.”

Meanwhile, the host-actress also shared that her ex-husband, Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas, called up their kids Lorin and Venice during the New Year celebrations but she was unable to talk to him. When fellow The Buzz host Boy Abunda asked her if she thinks Yilmaz is currently dating someone, Ruffa answered, “Feeling ko [oo]. Kapag meron siyang other girl, happy siya, hindi niya ako pinapansin. Pero ‘pag wala, that’s the time na tumatawag siya.” Ruffa said that she believes that it is also best that she has minimal communication with her ex-husband but that he should keep the communication with their kids intact. “I think its best na magkaroon siya ng magandang relationship with the kids,” she said.
