Actress Angelica Panganiban downplayed reports that she and current boyfriend actor-model Derek Ramsey are getting married.

In an interview on weekly entertainment show "The Buzz," Pangilinan said that marriage is not yet on their minds, and that she and the actor are not rushing things.

"Wala (walang balak). Hindi kasi namin pinag-uusapan kasi parati naming sinasabi na siya yung tao na parang gusto niya kung ano ang mayroon sa araw na ito doon siya naka-focus. Ayaw niyang isipin yung bukas, ayaw niya ng isipin yung kahapon," the actress explained.

The former child star said that right now she is happy with her love life as well as her career. "Happy, masaya po, masaya pa din," she said.

Pangilinan shared that she celebrated Christmas with Derek and his family.

Good career

Just recently, Pangilinan received another Best Supporting Actress Award from Luna Awards for her film "A Love Story" with Aga Muhlach and Maricel Soriano.

"Thankful na parang sa wakas may nakakapansin ng pinaghihirapan...," she said.

The actress said that she is thankful to all her fans and supporters for their unending love, trust and support.

"Hindi niyo alam kung gaano niyo ako pinasaya after how many years. Ang tagal, parang 1997 pa yata ako huling tumanggap ng award at ngayon na lang siya ulit dumating sa akin. Akala ko hindi natalaga. Salamat sa pagbibigay ng pansin niyo. Masayang masaya po ako. Ang mga taong nagmamahal sa akin, yung pamilya ko, kaibigan ko at sa mga taong sumusuporta sa akin, salamat po for 16 years nandiyan pa din sila," Pangilinan said.

The actress is now part of the all-female gag show "Banana Split". She said that instead of feeling the pressure after she got her newest award she is now more eager to work and prove her prowess in acting.

"Hindi siya pressure. Para siyang mas na-e-excite ka. Parang mas nagke-crave ka pa lalo. Parang may mas gusto ka pang ilabas. Parang sa tuwa ko 'yun yung nararamdaman ko," she said.
