Diamond Star Maricel Soriano is back doing horror films

Maricel Soriano will star in Star Cinema's "T2" or Tenement 2 under the direction of well known television and film director Chito Roño.

The actress said she believes in the project that is why she immediately accepted it.

"Binasa ko pa lang ang script at nalaman ko ang mga kasama ko, excited na ako. At siyempre, super excited dahil maganda ‘yong storya,” Soriano told “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon.”
 
She added: “Iba ‘yong ginawa  ni direk na approach ng kung paano ‘yong interpretation na gusto niyang mangyari sa pelikula. Sigurado magugustuhan niyong lahat.”

The actress said the movie tells the story of a young kid who lost her parents at a young age. This young girl meets Claire (Soriano), a woman who is falling out of love with her husband.

T2 is a film about friendship between humans and "engkantos."

Derek Ramsey, Camille Prats and Tetchie Agbayani are also part of the film, with special participation of “Box Office King” John Lloyd Cruz and Malaysian superstar Carmen Soo.

Soriano has also starred in other horror flicks including “Vampira” and “Sa Piling ng mga Aswang.”

Currently, Soriano is also busy promoting her upcoming television horror mini-series "Florinda."
