Hero TvHero TV recently held its annual anime, technology and youth fair called “Hanep Hataw Hero: The Amped Edition” at Silver City, Verde, Pasig City.

Hero TV joined forces with ABS-CBN Multimedia, the subsidiary of ABS-CBN Interactive that introduced popular games to the Pinoy youth, as they gave the best Hataw Hanep Hero event of the year.

The venue was packed with eager anime, gaming, technology and Cosplay enthusiasts as most of them came in their best and most impressive Cosplay attire.

The variety of costumes ranged from the scary doll turned human Chucky, to President Obama to the most popular and adorable characters of the animae-landia.

Different booths were set up with anything and everything anime such as anime hats, collector’s cards, Cosplay accessories, huge stuffed toys, and unique kinds of merchandise as well as booths for gamers and on-line players.

The program was full of surprises and activities like the Cosplay competition, Hero Tunes band competition, street dance competition, Yugi-Oh competition, Draw-A-Hero contest and “Dub It Out!” dubbing competition.

One of the main highlights of the event was the rocking performances by some of the country’s hottest Pinoy bands – Sandwich, Sponge Cola, Angulo and SugarFree- who gave their all as the young people rocked with them with the same energy during the two-day event.

Thousands left the venue still high with the excitement and thrill of absorbing everything anime and the like.
