MANILA, Philippines - All's well that ends well. Ruffa Gutierrez and Shaina Magdayao have finally discussed the spreading “hate” text messages involving the 2 actresses.

“We really had a nice, calm talk," Gutierrez said. "Maraming naliwanagan and marami kaming bagay na napag-usapan.”

The actress-host, however, declined to reveal the details of their conversation, saying she wanted to keep them private.

“Ang importante walang problema, I mean there’s no reason for us to have any conflict or whatsoever. The atmosphere was serious, quiet, very calm. You know just clearing of issues,” she said.

The actress-host previously posted on her Twitter account that she had received nasty text messages purportedly from Magdayao.

It was believed that the text messages have something to do with actor John Lloyd Cruz. Both actresses have been romantically linked to Cruz.

“Hindi lang ako ang nakakatanggap, nakakatanggap din pala siya (Magdayao),” she tweeted. “We just wanted to know na hindi sa amin nanggaling ‘yong nasty messages.”

Gutierrez confirmed that ABS-CBN executives Johnny Manahan and Mariole Alberto had arranged a special dinner for her and Magdayao so that they could discuss and resolve the issue.

“We just really have to be aware in this industry, or in this world [that] there are people that want to hurt others and want others to feel bad and want to create problems and intrigues… Ang importante in the end, it was not her,” she said.

When asked if she knew Cruz’s reaction on the issue, Gutierrez replied: “I don’t want to discuss him.”

Magdayao also denied that she sent nasty text messages to Gutierrez. She also thanked Gutierrez and television host Boy Abunda for “clearing my name” on “The Buzz” on Sunday.

She tweeted: "Have A peaceful no-more-hate-texts-received days ahead. Let us just pray for the texters soul. God bless everyone!"
