 Actor Albert Martinez's matinee idol days may be behind him but that hasn't stopped him from posing sexy for a magazine cover. The actor said part of his preparations for the photoshoot includes dieting and drinking alkaline water."Right now I started to diet. I live in the alkaline world now. Water, greens, I don't eat red meat and I only eat like half a cup of brown rice and I do a lot of exercise and biking every morning for two hours," Martinez said. When asked on how much skin he would show for the magazine, Martinez replied: "Just right." The actor, who has obviously lost weight, said his diet is his way of staying fit and healthy. "It's actually not a change of lifestyle. I want do something radical because I'm getting old. I want to prolong my life a little longer so the best way to go about it is to live in alkaline world," explains the actor. Martinez said he will be flying to Malaysia for a TV shoot for ABS-CBN’s upcoming television series “A Time For Us" with Jericho Rosales and Malaysian star Carmen So. Aside from the series, Martinez is also shooting independent film titled "Cul-de-sac" with Jodi Sta. Maria-Lacson, Chin-Chin Gutierrez and Sam Milby. Martinez is the eldest of the Martinez brothers, William Martinez and Ronnie Martinez. He is the husband of actress Liezl Sumilang and a father to three beautiful children -- Alyanna, Alfonso and Alissa. He recently had parts in ABS-CBN’s television shows “Sa Piling Mo,” “Komiks: Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko,” “Maria Flordeluna,” “Princess Sarah,” “Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara” and “I Am KC: Yes Sir.”
