Baron Geisler and Jake Cuenca have patched things up after the reported confrontation between the two young actors at the backstage of variety show “ASAP ‘09” last Sunday.
“Entertainment Live” reported that officials from Star Magic, ABS-CBN’s talents training and management program, had set up a private meeting between the two camps that paved the way for their reconciliation.
“Naramdaman ko na sincere ang apology niya. Hindi na ako nag-dalawang isip to forgive him,” Cuenca said.
Geisler, for his part, said: “I’m happy na nag-kausap na kami. Nagka-intindihan na kami. People make mistakes. Kung hindi natin aakuin ang mga bagay na mali, walang mangyayari sa atin.”
During his interview on “The Buzz” on January 18, Cuenca admitted that he confronted Geisler over insinuations made by the latter that the “Palos” star had a “gay backer.”
Geisler, who has been involved in many controversies, was allegedly questioning Cuenca’s series of good projects on ABS-CBN. Reports said Geisler had supposedly hinted that this might be because of Cuenca’s alleged gay backer.
“Tinanong ko kung anong problema niya sa akin kasi sa mga naririnig ko... I’m a very peaceful person. Kapag nabastos na ang pagkatao ko, hindi ko talaga tinatalikuran,” Cuenca told “The Buzz.”
He maintained that the confrontation did not turn into a physical fight.
Cuenca and Geisler are both stars of “Tayong Dalawa,” the latest television series on ABS-CBN.
Cuenca was glad that the issue was resolved immediately, saying that this diffused the tension during tapings for the TV drama series.
