PBB Teen Robi flattered to be compared to Rico Yan

{mosimage}He may have become second fiddle to Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Big Winner Ejay Falcon, but Robi Domingo will always be Number One to his fans.

Moreover, Robi is thrilled that he's being compared to matinee idol Rico Yan (March 14, 1975–March 29, 2002).

"Wow! It's an honor po kasi from what I've heard si Kuya Rico Yan ay iba po ang pakikitungo sa mga tao. "Maganda po sobrang positive po yon para sa akin (na ma-i-compare kay Rico Yan)," Robi said.

Various blogs, forums and other postings on the Internet keep pointing out that Robi is another Rico Yan in the making. Some Internet posts even point out that Robi looks like Rico Yan and even has mannerisms similar to that of the heartthrob. The late Rico Yan was a former matinee idol and the ex-sweetheart of actress Claudine Barretto. On March 29, 2002, Good Friday, Yan suddenly died at the Dos Palmas Resort in Palawan. An autopsy revealed the cause of his death as "acute hemmoraghic pancreatitis".

Ricardo Carlos Castro Yan in real life, was under an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN. He was a member of the network's Star Magic and was a Youth Spokesman for the Department of Education before he died.

Domingo who is very vocal in saying that he is open to enter the world of showbiz also shared  that he would like to work with actresses Iya Villania, Shaina Magdayao and Kim Chiu.

Like Yan, Robi  is  also known for being a responsible person and someone who really values education.  Robi is happy to return to his home and his school.

"Kanina nang pumasok ko, I really felt I was home ang sarap ng nandoon ka, sa kinalakhan mo, kaya okay naman," Domingo  told the news site.

Domingo is now taking up Health Sciences and in-coming freshman for school year 2008-2009.

"Sa school ko okay naman po sila. I felt they were supporting me," Domingo added.

Like a true blue Atenista, Domingo displayed commendable leadership skills as he took in charge and saw to it that everything was well taken care of inside the most famous house in the land.

He showed his selflessness when he headed the eviction of his own father, Daddy Boy, saying that his father is more needed outside the house.

He also displayed great patience and calm inside the PBB house, which other teen housemates miscontrued as "playing safe".
