Toni Gonzaga to host "Pinoy Dream Academy"

Actress and host Toni Gonzaga is working hard as if there is no tomorrow. With only a few days left before the finale of "Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus" on June 7th, Saturday, Gonzaga will be seen again as the host for the second season of "Philippine Dream Academy" (PDA).

Gonzaga said it is better to work than to do nothing.

"As long as there are opportunities I'm going to grab it... I really like to strike while the iron is still hot," Gonzaga said. Gonzaga will be seen everyday hosting PDA's primetime edition, while host Nikki Gil will be delivering updates. The newest Kapamilya Billy Crawford will cover PDA's Uberture.

"I will be doing the primetime, 'yung the usual delivering the latest happenings inside the academy," Gonzaga said.

Gonzaga is the perfect choice to host PDA. Aside from being a good host, she is also a great singer. Recently, Star Records launched her latest album 'Love Is... Toni Gonzaga.'

Her latest album follows two recent successes: her hit concert "Catch Me…Toni Gonzaga" and her blockbuster movie "My Big Love" with actor Sam Milby.

"PDA Season 2: The Dream BIGins" will launch the 32 hopefuls starting June 9th, right after "My Girl."

After the weeklong casting process, a grand opening night will follow on June 14th, Saturday.

The grand opening night will be held live at the PDA concert hall across from the ABS-CBN compound.

Gonzaga is also set to do a reunion movie with comedy-actor Vhong Navarro later this year.
