Last call for Survivor wannabes

Almost 5,000 Metro Manila residents auditioned for Survivor Philippines as GMA 7 kicked off its final audition for its second season at the SM San Lazaro last March 29 and 30.

Survivor wannabes of all ages, shapes and sizes patiently waited to showcase their talents and came up with all sorts of gimmicks, hoping to become part of the next batch of castaways who will vie for the title second Pinoy Sole Survivor and win the P3-M grand prize.Many of the aspiring castaways (OFWs, beauticians, students, sea men, a mall show director, musicians, a single mother, construction workers, etc.) who waited for their turn, cited poverty and instant celebrity as the reasons that prompted them to audition.

Survivor PhilippinesFirst time na ginawa ni Paolo Bediones na todong nag-share ng blessings sa entertainment press kahapon, December 2, sa Windmills & Rainforest restaurant sa Sct. Borromeo St., Quezon City. Ito ay bilang bahagi ng kanyang year-long 10th anniversary sa showbiz.

"Kasama na rin sa celebration natin ang pasasalamat ko sa entertainment press dahil naging mabait kayo sa akin sa loob ng 10 years ko sa business. Yes, may mga times na may intriga, may accusations sa akin. But still, naging mabait kayo sa akin, hindi n'yo ako pinahirapan," nakangiting wika ni Paolo.

Maaga pa lamang ay nasa venue na si Paolo upang i-check ang last details ng affair. Kinuha na ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ang pagkakataon upang kausapin si Paolo nang solo.

Paolo Bediones tells personal story of survival

{mosimage}“I’ll be debt-free by the end of this year,” Paolo Bediones declares when asked about his own personal story of survival at the “Survivor Philippines’” jam-packed auditions in Iloilo.

He finally puts to rest speculations about his failed business venture. “I am taking care of debts that are not even mine. I trusted the wrong people and made hasty decisions.”

Pao has learned his lesson well. He’s wiping the slate clean as he gears up to take 16 castaways to a remote island (out of the Philippines) for a 39-day challenge in the local version of the groundbreaking reality series to premiere in August on GMA 7.
